Canucks rookie Brock Boeser named NHL All-Star MVP

Brock Boeser took home MVP honours at the 2018 NHL All-Star Game and spoke about his expectations for himself and how he plans to continue going forward through the second half of the season.

Vancouver Canucks super-rookie Brock Boeser has been named MVP of the NHL All-Star game.

Boeser, 20, had two goals and an assist as to lead the Pacific Division All-Stars to the title. He will take home a car for being named MVP.

Boeser also won the shooting accuracy contest in Saturday’s skills competition.

Boeser is one of the Calder Trophy front-runners for rookie of the year. He leads all rookies with 24 goals and is second to the New York IslandersMathew Barzal in points with 43.
