The Vancouver Canucks have re-signed defenceman Andrey Pedan to a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced Tuesday.
Pedan appeared in 13 games with the Canucks in 2015-16. He did not record a point and finished with 18 penalty minutes and a minus-3 rating.
The Canucks acquired Pedan from the New York Islanders in exchange for Alexandre Mallet and a 2016 third-round draft pick in November of 2014.
The Islanders selected Pedan in the third round (63rd overall) at the 2011 NHL Draft.
