Blackhawks’ Crawford pulled after soft goals

Viktor Stalberg took full advantage of Corey Crawford’s gaffe behind the net, stealing the puck from the Chicago netminder and scoring to put the Predators up 2-0.

It certainly wasn’t the start to the Stanley Cup playoffs Corey Crawford had envisioned.

The Chicago Blackhawks netminder was pulled following the first period after allowing three goals on 12 shots in Game 1 against the Nashville Predators.

Crawford was replaced by Scott Darling.

Of the 16 playoff teams, Crawford is one of only two starting goalies to have won a Stanley Cup — Marc-Andre Fleury is the other.
