Chipchura traded to Anaheim for draft pick

The Montreal Canadiens traded forward Kyle Chipchura to the Anaheim Ducks for a fourth-round pick.

Chipchura, 23, was a first-round pick of the Habs (18th overall) in the 2004 Entry Draft.

A native of Westlock, AB, Chipchura played 19 games with the Canadiens this season. He was held pointless, served 16 penalty minutes with a minus-10 rating and averaging 8:37 minutes of ice time per game.

Chipchura played 68 regular season games recording 14 points (4 goals, 10 assists) and 31 penalty minutes.
