The Colorado Avalanche have agreed to a one-year deal with Gabriel Bourque, the team announced Tuesday.

Bourque played in six games and registered no points for the Avalanche in the 2016-17 campaign, after joining them through a professional tryout.

A six-year pro, Bourque spent the first five seasons of his career playing for the Nashville Predators, who drafted him in 2009.

The five-foot-10, 205-pound winger also played for the AHL’s San Antonio Rampage last season, where he put up 33 points (10 goals and 23 assists).
