Watch: Conn Smythe winners Malkin, Williams clash

Two former Conn Smythe Trophy-winners went at it on the ice, as Justin Williams' antics had Evgeni Malkin fired up and frustrated.

It’s not all too often you see Conn Smythe Trophy winners drop the gloves–let alone with one another–but that’s what happened Thursday when Evgeni Malkin and Justin Williams clashed in the third period of the Penguins’ 3-0 win over the Kings.

Okay, technically it wasn’t a fight seeing as both men were assessed roughing minors instead of fighting majors, but it was entertaining nonetheless.

Williams won the Conn Smythe Trophy last season as the Kings earned their second championship in three years, while Malkin won the trophy in 2009 when the Penguins hoisted the Stanley Cup.
