The NHL opened up fan voting for the 2018 All-Star Game on Dec. 2, and the people have spoken (so far).
Fans can cast votes until Jan. 1 for the player they’d most like to see named captain for each division’s team for the 2018 NHL All-Star Game—the final event of the all-star festivities in Tampa Bay on Jan. 27-28. Voters can enter up to 10 ballots per day, and so far it looks like the home crowd is doing just that. Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos and fellow top scorer Nikita Kucherov lead the pack in the Atlantic Division.
Below are the top five players for each division so far, accompanied by the percentage of votes they’ve received:
