#Sens goaltender Craig Anderson suffered a lower body injury and will not return to tonight's game.
— Ottawa Senators (@Senators) March 2, 2016
Anderson appeared to be in discomfort after extending his leg in the crease. He left the game with 6:19 remaining in the second period with the Senators down 3-1 to the St. Louis Blues. Andrew Hammond replaced him in goal.
Anderson has appeared in 51 games this season, winning 27 games and sporting a 2.78 GAA and .917 save percentage.
At the time of the injury, the Senators sat six points out of a playoff spot with 18 games remaining after Tuesday.
