The New Jersey Devils have traded a conditional seventh-round draft pick in either 2017 or 2018 to the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for forward Petr Straka.

Straka was taken in the second round (55th overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft by the Columbus Blue Jackets but did not sign a contract, eventually signing with the Flyers as a free agent on April 11, 2013.

The 24-year-old has spent the bulk of the last three seasons with the AHL Phantoms.

He had two assists in a three-game stint with the Flyers last year
