The New Jersey Devils will be without Jiri Tlusty for the next 3-4 months.

“On Friday, Devils’ forward Jiri Tlusty underwent successful surgery to repair a torn ligament in his right wrist,” Devils general manager Ray Shero said in press release Saturday. “The procedure was performed by Dr. Robert Hotchkiss at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.”

Tlusty has two goals and two assists in 30 games with the Devils this season and has not played since Jan. 8. The 27-year-old signed a one-year deal with New Jersey in September.
