The New Jersey Devils have re-signed goaltender Keith Kinkaid to a two-year contract worth $2.5 million, the team announced Thursday.

Kinkaid has spent the past two seasons backing up Cory Schneider in the Devils crease.

The 27-year-old had a 2.64 goals-against average and a .916 save percentage in 26 games this past season.

His new deal will pay him $1.2 million in 2017-18 and $1.3 million in 2018-19.
