New York Islanders goalie Rick DiPietro will miss his second consecutive game Saturday vs. the St. Louis Blues because of swelling in his left knee.
The swelling is due to offseason surgery in his left knee, but sources tell Sportsnet that DiPietro is considered day-to-day and should start Monday vs. the Buffalo Sabres.
Last season, DiPietro had a record of 26-28-0 in 63 games with a 2.82 GAA.
