Dmitry Kulikov to miss 2-4 weeks with knee injury

Hurricanes captain Eric Staal joins HC at Noon to discuss the state of the team, his current contract situation and why he likes the new NHL All-Star format.

The Florida Panthers will be without defenceman Dmitry Kulikov for two to four weeks with a knee injury, according to George Richards of the Miami Herald.

Kulikov sustained the injury in a 5-4 shootout win Saturday against the Tampa Bay Lightning. He will not require surgery.

In 17 games this season, the Russian defenceman has three assists.

The Panthers play tonight against the Anaheim Ducks.
