Ducks re-sign defenceman Korbinian Holzer to one-year deal

The Anaheim Ducks have re-signed defenceman Korbinian Holzer to a one-year contract, the team announced Tuesday.

Holzer played in 29 games for the Ducks last season, finishing with three assists. He also had three assists in nine games with the San Diego Gulls of the AHL.

He was acquired at the 2015 trade deadline from the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Munich, Germany native has two goals and 10 assists in 87 career NHL games.
