The Anaheim Ducks have signed UFA forward Mike Santorelli to a one-year contract, the team announced Monday.
The deal is worth a reported $875,000.
The 29-year-old centre spent the majority of the 2014-15 season with the Toronto Maple Leafs before being traded to the Nashville Predators in February along with Cody Franson in exchange for Brendan Leipsic, Olli Jokinen and Nashville’s 2015 first-round pick.
Santorelli has tallied 55 goals and 120 points in 336 career NHL games split among the Predators, Leafs, Florida Panthers, Winnipeg Jets and Vancouver Canucks. He was drafted in the sixth round (168th overall) by the Predators in 2004.
