Pavel Datsyuk’s brilliance translates pretty well. The Detroit Red Wings star made his KHL debut for CSKA Moscow on Monday, and his new team defeated Avangard Omsk 1-0.
Although Datsyuk won 10 of his 12 face-offs and had three shots on goal, his most resourceful play was this slice of magic – instead of risking a high stick, dude heads his own flipping rebound into the net.
So what if the goal was disallowed. You gotta see this:
