Ottawa Senators netminder Robin Lehner will make his season debut Sunday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Lehner was recalled by the club yesterday to replace an injured Alex Auld, who remains day-to-day. Craig Anderson has won five consecutive games for the Sens, but will get tonight off.
In other moves Sunday morning, the Senators called up forward Nikita Filatov from Binghamton and Daniel Alfredsson is out tonight vs. the Leafs. Filatov, however, will not play tonight. Instead Bobby Butler, who has been out for the past 10 days with a groin injury, will replace Alfredsson.
There is no further update to Alfredsson’s condition, as Paul MacLean said he has to undergo further testing.
