Flames’ Travis Hamonic ejected for hit to head

Watch as Travis Hamonic lands a hit to the head on Dale Weise, earning a game misconduct.

Calgary Flames defenceman Travis Hamonic was ejected from Monday’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers for an illegal hit to the head of Dale Weise.

Hamonic caught Weise up high in the neutral zone and was given a match penalty, served by Matthew Tkachuk.

The Flyers failed to convert on their five-minute power play.
