Flyers’ Nolan Patrick leaves game against Ducks

Nolan Patrick would be slow to get up after this hit from Chris Wagner and would head to the locker room.

Philadelphia Flyers rookie Nolan Patrick left the game against the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday night after he was hit into the boards by Ducks forward Chris Wagner.

Patrick was in the corner of his own end battling for the puck when Wagner laid the hit, which caused Patrick’s head hit into the glass. Patrick stayed on the ice before play was halted at 2:35 of the second period. He gingerly skated back to the bench on his own accord.

The 2017 second-overall pick has one goal and two assists in eight games for the Flyers.
