Flyers sign Couturier to six-year extension

The Philadelphia Flyers have signed forward Sean Couturier to a six-year, $26-million contract extension.

Couturier totalled 15 goals and 37 points in 82 games last season.

The Flyers selected Couturier eighth overall in 2011 NHL Draft.

The 22-year-old has scored 45 goals and 118 points in 287 games over the course of his four seasons in the NHL.
