The Philadelphia Flyers have signed forward Jordan Weal to a one-year contract.

The Flyers acquired Weal and a third-round draft pick from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for forward Vincent Lecavalier and defenceman Luke Schenn in January.

Weal appeared in 14 games in 2015-16 but did not record a point.

Weal was drafted 70th overall by the Kings in 2010.
