Veteran defenceman Kevin Klein has signed a one-year contract with the ZSC Lions of Switzerland’s National League, the club announced on Friday.
The Kitchener, Ont., native announced his retirement from the NHL earlier this month after suiting up for 627 games for the Nashville Predators and New York Rangers.
Drafted 37th overall by the Predators back in 2003, Klein racked up 154 points through his lengthy career. His best efforts came with the Rangers, with whom he twice posted a career-high 26 points.
