Glass, Suzuki among eight players released from Golden Knights’ camp

The Vegas Golden Knights have released eight players from training camp including three of their top four draft picks.

Forwards Cody Glass and Nick Suzuki and defencemen Nick Hague and Dylan Coghlan were returned to their CHL teams.

Glass was the first draft pick in Vegas team history, taken sixth-overall this June. Suzuki was also a first-round pick, 13th overall and Hague was pick No. 34 in the second round.

Coghlan was an undrafted free agent who was invited to camp by the Golden Knights and signed to an entry-level contract earlier this week.

Forwards Bryce Gervais and Stephen MacAulay, and defencemen Kenney Morrison and Dmitry Osipov were assigned to training camp with the AHL’s Chicago Wolves.
