Gotta Hear It: Finnish call of Donskoi’s OT winner

Watch as Joonas Donskoi scores the OT winner for the Sharks in a do-or-die game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

In what’s becoming a bit of a trend in these Stanley Cup playoffs, video of a non-English goal call has been making its way around the hockey world.

In Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final, it was Hockey Night in Punjabi’s call of the Nick Bonino winner.

This time, it’s the Finnish broadcast of Joonas Donskoi‘s overtime goal in Game 3. Have a listen for yourself.

In case you were wondering, that’s Antti Makinen of Viasat Hockey Finland doing play-by-play, who you may remember from this Chris Johnston feature from last year.

Not to be outdone, the HNIC Punjabi released their own take on Donskoi’s winner.
