Gotta See It: Connor McDavid Ferrari spotted in Edmonton

Connor McDavid is ready to scrap the Oilers’ loss to the Sharks, saying the series is tied and San Jose doesn’t get credit for two games just for winning big.

Some diehard hockey fans will do anything to show their support for a team, even if it means messing with a ridiculously expensive car.

A Ferrari embellished with the Edmonton Oilers logo, and Connor McDavid‘s 97, was spotted in Edmonton by local reporter Jonathan Glasgow.

Oddly, the car isn’t blue and orange as you’d expect, but red.

The car includes a “Let’s Go Oilers” cheer on the front window.

Whoever owns this vehicle is likely hoping the car-as-tribute will give the local team a boost of encouragement. The Oilers host the San Jose Sharks for Game 5 at Rogers Place on Thursday evening, and the home team will be looking for redemption after taking an embarrassing 7–0 pummelling on Tuesday in San Jose. The series is currently tied at two games apiece.
