Eighteen-year-old Auston Matthews — the sure No. 1 selection in the 2016 NHL Draft — continues to do things against the grown men of the Swiss National League A that makes his coach gush.

Marc Crawford, the man charged with overseeing the American prospect’s development, says Matthews’ skills are better than those of Peter Forsberg, Jamie Benn and the Sedin twins when those chumps were teenagers.

And after watching Matthews obliterate this water bottle with a laser snipe, it’s getting harder to disagree.

Matthews has racked up 23 points in 20 games for the Zurich Lions this season. He’ll be one of the main attractions at the world juniors later this month.
