Gotta See It: Freaky stop-motion Jagr puppetry

The Czech Republic won’t celebrate the 20th anniversary of its 1998 Olympic gold medal in men’s hockey until February of 2018. Three years might seem like a long time to some, but it’s never too early to roll out some Jaromir Jagr stop-motion puppetry in advance of the anniversary.

The Florida Panthers re-signed Jagr to a one-year deal worth $3.5 million in April. The 43-year-old had six goals and 12 assists in 20 games with the Panthers after arriving via trade with the New Jersey Devils ahead of the 2015 trade deadline.

“Nagano: The Birth of Heroes” is set to be released in February of 2018 according to the film’s official website.
