It’s difficult to decide which part of this clip is funnier: the confidence with which Jeopardy! contestant Joe delivers his incorrect answer, or the way Canadian host Alex Trebek calmly says, “Oh, no” and then explains basic sports leagues to Joe afterward.
The $400 quiz-show question, in the form of an answer: “100+ assists in an NHL season has been accomplished only 13 times, 11 times by this player.”
Although we feel much superior to Joe for these 17 seconds of YouTube gold, the guy won nearly $25,000 in the episode and is probably smarter than all of us combined.
