Sweet Zeus. So that’s how you get in shape to defend your Norris Trophy.

You pump up the jam, strap 100 pounds of steel to your waist, and proceed to rip a few chin-ups. Considering Montreal Canadiens defenceman P.K. Subban is listed at 216 pounds, that means he’s lifting 316 pounds of hanging weight (we did the math).

Hey, he said people would watch video of him working out at the gym. (Although he didn’t say that he’d try to make Ya Kid K relevant again.)

Subban posted a pair of workout clips on his Instagram account Monday before golfing with brothers Jordan and Malcolm. The hashtag? #sunsoutgunsout
