Sabres’ Grigorenko to play for Russia in WJHC

Buffalo Sabres’ Mikhail Grigorenko will suit up for Russia at the World Junior Hockey Championships.

The Sabres centre posted on Facebook that he was flying to Russia Sunday.

In 18 games this season, Grigorenko has tallied two goals and one assist.

The tournament takes place in Malmo, Sweden from Dec. 26 to Jan. 5.
