Injured Los Angeles Kings forward Jeff Carter skated with the team Wednesday in Dallas.

Carter underwent surgery for a cut suffered when Montreal Canadiens defenceman Jeff Petry‘s skate connected with the inside of his lower leg on Oct. 18. Carter has not appeared in a game since.

He has suited up in six contests in 2017-18, registering three assists.

Los Angeles currently sits in fourth place in the Pacific Division with 57 points. The Kings resume play against the Stars Tuesday coming out of the all-star break.
