New York Islanders defenceman Ryan Pulock will miss the next four to six weeks with a lower-body injury, the team announced Saturday.
Pulock was an emergency replacement for injured defenceman Nick Leddy who has missed action with an upper-body injury. Leddy did however practice with the team Saturday.
Leddy is the Islanders’ top-scoring defenceman the past two seasons. Pulock, 22, has played 16 career games with the club since being drafted in 2013.
