James Reimer will start for Maple Leafs Saturday vs. Bruins

After a big win and a great performance in net against the Hurricanes, Mike Babcock said after the game that it will be James Reimer in net again for the Maple Leafs as they complete a back-to-back in Boston on Saturday night.

The Toronto Maple Leafs will not be making a switch in net, despite playing the second leg of a back-to-back on Saturday night.

The Maple Leafs plan to start goaltender James Reimer Saturday night against the Boston Bruins.

Reimer has caught the Maple Leafs’ attention with stellar play in the month of November. The 27-year-old goalie, who opened the season as the backup to Jonathan Bernier, has recorded a win in each of his last five starts and has allowed just a total of seven goals over that stretch.

Reimer had recorded a .930 save percentage entering Friday’s game against the Carolina Hurricanes in which he made 33 saves on 34 shots to help secure a win for Toronto.
