Hansen is just the second Canuck to sign overseas. Fourth-line forward Dale Weise inked a deal with the Tillburg Trappers of the Dutch hockey league on Oct. 12.
The Canucks’ ninth-round pick in 2004, Hansen reached career highs in goals (16) and points (39) in 82 games last season.
