The Winnipeg Jets have avoided salary arbitration with forward Eric Tangradi by agreeing to terms on a new contract, the club announced on Tuesday.

In 36 games with the Jets last season Tangradi tallied one goal and three assists.

Originally drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in 2007, the 24-year-old has appeared in 81 career NHL games between Pittsburgh and Winnipeg for nine career points.
