The Winnipeg Jets re-signed forward Andrew Copp to a two-year contract, the club announced on Thursday.
Copp’s new deal will carry an average annual value of $1 million per season.
The 23-year-old entered the summer as a restricted free agent after posting nine goals and 17 points through 64 games in 2016-17. That slight improvement followed a 13-point performance in 77 contests one year prior.
Copp joined the Jets organization as a fourth-round pick (104th-overall) back in 2013.
