Jets’ Mark Scheifele to miss second consecutive game

Bryan Little scored just 17 seconds into overtime to get the Jets a 3-2 win over the Blues.

The Winnipeg Jets will be without Mark Scheifele for the second time in as many days for their Sunday game against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Scheifele was originally injured in the Jets’ game against the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday. After participating in the morning skate on Saturday, he was listed as a game time decision but ended up missing Winnipeg’s win over the St. Louis Blues.

He is currently the Jets’ top scorer and tied for sixth in the league in scoring with 26 points (13 goals, 13 assists).

The team enters Sunday tenth in the Western Conference with a 12-13-2 record.
