Jets re-assign forward Cormier to AHL St. John’s

WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Jets re-assigned forward Patrice Cormier to the St. John’s IceCaps of the American Hockey League on Wednesday.

Cormier, who had yet to appear in a game this season, had three assists and seven penalty minutes in nine games with the Jets last season.

The 24-year-old Moncton native has five points (1-4) in 49 career NHL games with Winnipeg and the Atlanta Thrashers.

Cormier has 75 points (36-39) and 256 penalty minutes in 163 career AHL games with the IceCaps and Chicago Wolves.
