John-Michael Liles signs with Bruins for one year, $2 million

Nikita Kucherov made a quick move to cut across the blue line but was dropped by John-Michael Liles, who caught him with an elbow.

The Boston Bruins will keep puck-moving blueliner John-Michael Liles for another season.

The 35-year-old was acquired by Boston from Carolina at the 2016 trade deadline and posted six points (all assists) in 17 games with the Bruins. Before arriving in Beantown, he had six goals and 15 points in 64 games with Carolina.
