Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman Korbinian Holzer has dodged the supplementary discipline bullet.
Holzer received a five-minute penalty for boarding and a 10-minute game misconduct for this hit (watch above) on Philadelphia Flyers forward Tye McGinn Monday at the Air Canada Centre, and some believed the culprit was due for further punishment from the league.
But Holzer will not face a hearing, Hockey Central insider Chris Johnston learned Tuesday morning:
There will be no discipline hearing for #leafs defenceman Korbinian Holzer after his boarding major on #flyers forward Tye McGinn.

The incident occurred halfway through the second period of the Leafs’ 5-2 win over the Flyers.
McGinn went to the locker room after the hit but did return to the game and scored the Flyers’ second goal of the night.
Holzer has two goals and 19 penalty minutes in six games for the Leafs this season.
Do you think Korbinian Holzer should have been suspended for his hit on Tye McGinn?
