Leafs’ Morgan Rielly won’t play Monday vs. Avalanche

With the news that Morgan Rielly will miss Monday's game vs. Colorado, Maple Leafs head coach Mike Babcock jokes about not having to make tough decision on the back end.

The Toronto Maple Leafs will be without defenceman Morgan Rielly once again when they host the Colorado Avalanche on Monday.

Rielly hasn’t played since an overtime loss to the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday.

The 23-year-old has five goals and 31 points in 47 games this season.

The Avalanche come to town having won their past nine games, a streak started with a win over Toronto on Dec. 29.
