The Toronto Maple Leafs have had a busy week with the recent firing of head coach Randy Carlyle and announcement that Peter Horacek would step into the role on an interim basis.

Thursday, the action continued (albeit on a much smaller scale) for the Maple Leafs as the team announced that forward Troy Bodie had been recalled from the American Hockey League’s Toronto Marlies while forward Greg McKegg had been reassigned to the Marlies.

Bodie, 29, had recorded seven points (five goals, two assists) in 32 games with the Marlies this season. In 154 career NHL games, the winger collected 21 points (nine goals, 12 assists).

The 22-year-old McKegg was held pointless in two appearances with the Maple Leafs after being recalled on January 1 and returns to the Marlies, where he had registered 15 points (seven goals, eight assists) in 23 games this season.
