Leafs sign Carl Grundstrom to entry-level deal

The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed forward prospect Carl Grundstrom to a three-year entry-level contract.

Grundstrom was drafed in the second round, 57th overall, in 2016 and spent the past season playing for Frolunda of the SHL.

He had 14 goals and 20 points in 45 games, and was a point-per-game player through seven games on Sweden’s world junior team.
