Leafs sign goalie MacIntyre to two-way deal

The Toronto Maple Leafs signed goaltender Drew MacIntyre for the balance of the 2012-13 season, Maple Leafs general manger Dave Nonis announced Tuesday.

MacIntyre has a record of 10-3-3 in 16 games with the Toronto Marlies in the American Hockey League this season, posting a 1.85 goals against average and a .931 save percentage.

The 29-year-old was named AHL’s Player of the Week last month for the period that ended on March 3.

MacIntyre has previous NHL experience with the Vancouver Canucks and Buffalo Sabres.
