Robin Lehner’s stellar paddle save robbed Blue Jackets forward Alexander Wennberg of a goal in the first period of the Columbus-Ottawa game on Saturday.
The Senators goalie reached back and stole one as Wennberg attempted to slide the puck into an open net after a point shot made its way through a screen to the Ottawa goal.
The save even prompted a nod from the Blue Jackets on social media.

Wennberg was planted in front before he scooped up a rebound and shifted to his forehand. Lenher appeared to be beat, but Wennberg failed to lift the puck and Lehner got his paddle down to make the stop.
