The Tampa Bay Lightning have agreed to terms with forward Cedric Paquette on a two-year deal, the team announced Friday afternoon.
Paquette is the third signing of the day for Tampa, as they also signed forward J.T. Brown and defenceman Luke Witkowski earlier Friday.
Paquette, 22, tallied six goals, 11 points and 51 penalty minutes in 56 games with the Lightning in 2015-16.
The would-be RFA has played all of his 122 career NHL games with Tampa Bay since being draft in the fourth round of the 2012 draft. He has earned 18 goals and 31 points over the course of three seasons, including his first career hat trick in January 2015 during a game against the Detroit Red Wings.
