Lightning re-sign Yanni Gourde for two years

The Tampa Bay Lightning have re-signed Yanni Gourde to a two-year deal that comes with an annual cap hit of $1 million, according to Sportsnet’s Chris Johnston.

The 25-year-old centre had six goals and eight points in 20 games for the Lightning this past season.

Gourde spent 56 games with the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch, recording 22 goals and 48 points in 56 games. He added 27 points in 22 AHL playoff contests, helping the Crunch reach the Calder Cup Finals.
