Lupul has been out of the lineup with concussion-like symptoms since Apr. 5 when he took a blow to the head in a 5-3 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers after being sandwiched by Jay Rosehill and Adam Hall.
“I think it’s safe to say I took a pretty solid blow to the head,” Lupul told the Toronto Star on Apr. 10. “Anyone who was watching could have seen that…. Obviously anyone who saw me try to go to the bench could tell there were some symptoms.”
Lupul was red hot since returning from a 25-game absence because of a broken forearm, scoring eight goals and six assists before his recent injury.
