Maple Leafs sign Chris Mueller to two-year contract

The Toronto Maple Leafs have agreed to a two-year contract with forward Chris Mueller.

Mueller’s contract carries an annual average value of $650,000. He played in 68 games for the Tucson Roadrunners of the AHL in 2016-17, scoring 19 goals and adding 48 assists.

The 31-year-old has three goals and seven assists in 53 career NHL games spent with the Nashville Predators, Dallas Stars and New York Rangers.
