Toronto Marlies forward Mark Arcobello has been named the CCM/AHL Player of the Week.

In three games, Arcobello recorded four goals and three assists to go with a plus-6 rating. The Marlies beat the Syracuse Crunch 5-4 in overtime on Friday, and then beat the Utica Comets in back-to-back contests on Saturday and Sunday by 4-2 and 7-1 scores, respectively.

The 27-year-old Arcobello has 16 goals and 21 assists on the season and sits fifth in AHL scoring with 37 points in 30 games. He’s also played 11 games in the NHL with the Maple Leafs this season, but hasn’t recorded a point with them.

The Marlies continued to dominate the AHL and have now won nine of their past 10 games. Toronto holds a 34-8-2-0 record for 70 points, which is 11 points clear of the second-best AHL team.

With an NHL salary of $1.1 million, Arcobello is set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. He’s played 130 games in the NHL with Toronto, Arizona, Pittsburgh, Nashville and Edmonton, recording 21 goals, 28 assists and 49 points.
